Millions of pilgrims visit Vrindavan to pay homage to Lord Krishna. This holy city is close to Mathura, the birth place of the lord. Barsana, the city of Radha is nearby. Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram is run by the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission Belur Math. It is a 165-bed charitable hospital. It was established in 1907 with a small homeopathic centre. It is a fully equipped medical establishment today. The hospital is run for the benefit of all without the distinction of caste, creed colour and religion.
It has facilities for general medicine, surgery, ENT, dentistry, paediatrics, gynaecology, radiology, physiotherapy and pathology etc. It also has provision of alternative medicinal systems like homeopathy, ayurveda and yoga.

Shri Brij Sewa Samiti T.B. Sanatorium
The famous sanatorium in Vrindavan is a stellar institute working in the field of T.B. medication and eradication. It was established in 1951 by a group of philanthropists headed by Lala Hargulal Ji Beriwal. They started with a 32-bed T.B. sanatorium. Today it has individual cottages and general wards for 75 along with separate wards for 150 female patients. It has OPD facility. A Mobile X-Ray Van serves the poor in far flung areas. The treatment is free.
